Renato "Nate" Chacon

Nate brings 15+ years of construction and operations experience spanning both sides of the business: swinging hammers in the field and administering multi-million-dollar commercial contracts at the desk. Before founding Royal RC, he managed commercial developments in the Rio Grande Valley — including a $3.45M retail/office build-out in Pharr and the $1.59M Trenton Park Plaza retail development — and secured more than $2 million in economic incentives through tax abatement and municipal development negotiations along the way.

His field roots run just as deep: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, and carpentry work across a 200+ unit apartment complex, where he cut make-ready turnaround to under a day and maintenance downtime by 30%. That combination — hands-on trade skill plus AIA contract administration, cost estimating, and payment-application discipline — is what Royal RC is built on.

Nate is Xactimate Level 3 Certified, the same estimating platform insurance carriers use, which means every Royal RC scope and price is documented to a standard that holds up under scrutiny. A Valley native (Los Fresnos) who studied at UT Pan-American and South Texas College, he brought his South Texas roots to Austin and now serves both markets — with real crews, real documentation, and pricing you can verify.
